Subsequently in October 1997, Musgrave Park Cultural Centre Incorporated was established and have taken the on project of development of the new Musgrave Park Cultural Centre facilities.

The new centre will host the cultural heritage of the Aboriginal people within the region of south-east Queensland. Three new business initiatives of Conference Hire, Catering and Art Gallery Exhibitions will also be established alongside its current activities of Cultural Education Programs.

The Queensland Government and the Brisbane City Council have supported the project, and a portion of Musgrave Park has been allocated as the project site.
